At the end of the day it's hard to find something outstanding or great about Inuyasha. Of the entire franchise. Later on in the manga, once Sesshomaru's unsmiling, taciturn personality is established, Jaken does briefly observe that Sesshomaru only smiles when he's in a killing mood.

I would have liked to have seen Sango and Miroku do more at being a couple rather than just eyeing each other. And then Inuyasha seems like he's refusing to protect Kagome over an apology, and Inuyasha is life-size in his eyes - for about five minutes.
Brought Down to Normal: Happens to Inuyasha (and every other half demon) every month, most often during a plot that could be resolved effortlessly with Inuyasha's normal powers.

Upon her demise, Kagome feels sad for Kanna, having realized that, despite everything Naraku said, Kanna truly did have emotions and wanted to live.

Animal Jingoism: Played for Laughs with the animosity between Inuyasha and Shippou. Based off of the manga of the same title by Takahashi Rumiko, this is the tale of the half-demon Inuyasha and his companions Kagome, Miroku (aka: Houshi-sama), Sango, Shippou, and sometimes Myouga the youkai flea (more in the earlier season than later ones) as they search for the shards of the Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls), then hunt for the demon Naraku.
The series is a juvenile one, but not offensively so.
I thought the Miroku and Sango couple was so much entertaining than the main couple in this anime.
Sesshomaru and Rin - 9 - They are mysterious, and the only reason that got me to finish this horrid anime.
