Others took the opportunity to fuel the rumour that the rapper has indulged in gay porn – under an alias – and that his sex tape was leaked to the internet.
However, according to AllHipHop, the actor in said X-rated movie bears merely a passing resemblance to the rapper.
Furthermore, the 27-year-old admitted to having a girlfriend on Instagram just three days ago when he posted a gushing birthday tribute to model Ariiela Lalangosta.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BESTFRIEND [sic] IN THE WORLD,” he wrote in the caption to a video showing him kissing Lalangosta and showering her with cash.
“My girlfriend won’t get mad but we just friends she knows that,” he added.

A new misleading image is doing the rounds on social media but, for a change, this one has nothing to do with AI.
Instead, this (very real) photo has sparked a swirl of rumours concerning rapper 6ix9ine’s sexuality.
The picture shows 6ix9ine (who also goes by Tekashi69), planting a kiss on the cheek of Mexican singer Eduin Caz, from the band GroupoFirme.
It went viral after website Pop Tingz shared it to its Twitter account with the caption: “6ix9ine reveals boyfriend.”

The tweet racked up more than 7.9 million views and 3,570 likes in less than a day as streams of commentators remarked that they “weren’t surprised” by the revelation.
Except that it wasn’t a revelation at all, just proof of the power of a sensationalist headline.

In fact, Caz posted the original picture to his Instagram account to mark the release of a new collaboration between Groupo Firme and 6ix9ine.
Their track, ‘Y ahora’, is a love song about… a woman. The leak inspired viral reactions and memes on social media platforms, predominantly from Spanish-speaking internet users and meme creators.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has since posted a video denying that he's gay and claiming that Lil Nas X's DM exposé is fake.
Lil Nas X and Tekashi 6ix9ine are trading shots online after Tekashi 6ix9ine took a homophobic dig at Lil Nas X on Instagram.
Yesterday (Mar 5), popular YouTuber, DJ Akademiks, shared a news story on his Instagram page with the title: "China makes COVID-19 anal swabs mandatory for foreigners".
The video was leaked on Twitter / X and Reddit in late August 2024. It was speculated by many internet users that 6ix9ine leaked the video for revenge purposes following the couple's August 2024 breakup, though this is unconfirmed. In mid-August 2024, the two broke up again and Yailin La Más Viral was seen at the 2024 New York Dominican Parade alone.
On August 23rd, 2024, X user @wilkinmeta tweeted, "Se acaba de filtrar un video de Yailin ❌❌❌," translating in English to, "A video of Yailin ❌❌❌ has just been leaked." The tweet amassed over 6.3 million views and 9,900 likes in four days (shown below).
Spanish-speaking news outlets like Telemundo Atlanta reported on the alleged video leak in the following days.

After August 23rd, 2024, viral reactions to the rumored video leak surfaced on social media.
However, Lil Nas X didn't stop there, he then showed his fans a screenshot of 6ix9ine apparently sliding into his DMs. In the image, it looks like 6ix9ine sent Lil Nas X this message: "Gonna be in ya city soon, what you doing lol?"
In other words, it appears that 6ix9ine was romantically interested in Lil Nas X. However, 6ix9ine has since responded to Lil Nas X by claiming that the DM is fake.
He said: "Before this shit even start, we gon nip this shit in the bud." and revealed that there are no messages between the two of them. That being said, 6ix9ine could have simply deleted them.

The tweet was indicative of the growing theory that 6ix9ine allegedly leaked the video on purpose despite this merely being speculation.
