And definitely go often because Sun Trapp typically offers entry with no cover charge, although you might expect to wait a few minutes for bar service on weekends.

There really is not one main local gayborhood or gay area in SLC, but at least you have some options unlike Provo where there really is nothing available. Winter brings ski traffic and higher prices, but it’s a fun time if you want day trips to the slopes plus club nights.

The SunTrapp is a solid, casual gay bar with a patio and karaoke. Many of you may also be a bit curious about the world’s top transgender dating site, MyTransgenderDate. May and September give you mild weather, good patio time, and fewer crowds than peak summer. The Utah Pride Center also hosts year-round community programming.
