These are distinct from Reaction Shots, which have a narrower and more specific meaning. The case is before the DL-6 Incident, when he got shot in the shoulder.

  • Franziska has a very similar nervous sprite. Whether it’s Craig bringing the subject up for no apparent reason and bluntly saying “I’m gay” in his monotone voice, or Tweek not bucking out extra cash to impress a flirty waitress who wears her shorts extra tight and short and then at another point proclaiming his love for “sausage” - the writers bring you back to the idea that “Yes, they’re GAY”.

It’s constantly thrown in at complete random, with even the news anchor from “Put it Down” calling Tweek a “young homosexual boy”. And being honest, I don’t think Matt and Trey thought about Tweek and Craig much in general before TxC. Craig didn’t have his modern characterization fully established until “Pandemic” (he was mostly just a rival to the main four before then) and Tweek just straight up stopped existing for years.

  • I also won’t go into Tweek x Craig because I think plenty of people have hit upon that episode already (including myself in my old analysis on Tweek).

  • Miu twiddles with her hair when flustered or nervous. This would normally not be out of the ordinary, as she usually does it for the benefit of her deaf-mute best friend, but she often does it even when the only one nearby who understands it is Misha herself.
  • The Second Try:
    • The nervous tic that Shinji displayed in the series, the clenching/relaxing of his left hand, shows up again just before the battle with the 12th angel.

    • Several characters have gotten goofy eyes at some point, but most often, it's Kylie.

  • The Subject of their Sexualities within the Series

On to the last point. He coughed, then continued.

  • Lex Luger had this unhealthy obsession with touching himself. Oh, and also beating up some Young Lions at ringside.

Fighting Games in general give each character a trademark pose (or even more than one) that they assume upon winning.

  • That makes the rest of his character sheet questionable as to whether or not the information applies to KYLE, not Human Kite. Faking being a gay couple and having gone through a messy public "breakup" makes Tweek and Craig realize that they are LGBT+ and attracted to each other.

  • Cross-Referenced Titles: With Season 3's "Tweek Vs Craig" which was about people pressuring Tweek and Craig to fight while this episode had people pressuring Tweek and Craig to be a gay couple.
  • Continuity Nod: Butters is wearing a neck brace due to the injuries he suffered in the last episode and he's seen Skyping with his Canadian girlfriend from "Where My Country Gone?"
  • Embarrassingly Public Breakup: Everyone else assumes that Tweek and Craig are a couple, while the two of them wonder what they should do about it.

  • King Triton buries his face into his palm whenever he's ashamed or depressed. He also bows when he finishes his arguments. Don’t get what I mean?

  • Heirverse: Aizen will run a hand through his hair as a means of self-comfort, Gin later picks up the trait.
  • Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony has several:
    • Shuichi touches his finger to his chin when thinking.

    • Dolores frequently makes a squeaking sound.

It can also describe a Flat Character turning into a Rounded Character.

    • Tenko often gestures with her hands held flat and fingers straight together, since she's a martial artist.

    • DC Comics:
      • Batman: Batman tends to... The point is that this character sheet is for sure not completely accurate to who Kyle actually is.
