Kaplan, Vincent Cecil and Others When a 100-year-old queer speakeasy-turned-bar-turned-restaurant-and-community-space in Gotham announces that it will soon be closing its doors, generations of patrons come to pay their respects–including Alan Scott, the Green Lantern.
These mini comics are helpful resources in explaining and understanding queer identities in the modern age for folks who just may not get it but want to learn! But my Criers tell me that dating as an emotional vampire can make things a bit awkward.

Who knew Danzig was such a vulnerable, self-conscious sweety-pie? A sweet and charming coming-of-age story that explores friendship, love, and coming out. But how did they go from hisses to kisses? In more recent years it has blended slice-of-life storytelling with educational moments and commentary on current events, aiming to provide representation and support for trans and gender-nonconforming youth.
The series is ongoing and available in English and French.

Creator Kay O’Neill, who came out as non-binary as they were working on the third Tea Dragon Society graphic novel, nonetheless had always populated their stories with characters of various genders, sexualities, species, and body types.
You can read the first story in its entirety online, but O’Neill followed it up with two more graphic novels, forming a lovely trilogy.
