It’s a bit of a hike, 120 km away, but your hotel can book you a day tour. They are both stunningly beautiful beaches with stretches of ocean you can swim easily.

While the gay scene is more local and underground compared to destinations like Puerto Vallartaor Mexico City, Cancun still offers great gay bars, clubs, and events in Downtown Cancun. Cancun is very LGBTQ+ friendly, especially in the Hotel Zone, where most resorts are welcoming to all travelers. In all cases, we'd love to hear from you!

The Yucatan Peninsula, near Cancun, is a treasure trove of unique cenotes, and natural sinkholes with crystal-clear waters, making them a defining feature of this region. On the smaller size, Laser Hot Bar is always full.

Tacos al Pastor

Tacos al Pastor, a must-try Mexican dish in Cancun, has its roots in Lebanese cuisine, introduced by Lebanese immigrants.

Resorts are welcoming, and discrimination is rare in tourist areas. This adults-only, all-inclusive haven features various room options, from Junior Suite Kings with whirlpool tubs and water view terraces to Ocean View Swim Up Suite Kings with pool access. However, the gay bars in Cancun are all located in the downtown area.

The beach is nice, but the water is typically a bit rough for swimming.
